RAIPUR — Orrish Group was named "Emerging Builder of the Year" at the Central India Business Honours, an annual recognition organised by a regional industry council to celebrate enterprises that combine commercial performance with responsible practice.
The award jury highlighted the group's diversified footprint, its consistent record of project delivery, and its investments in skilling and community development through the Shivasha Foundation. Orrish Group competed against several larger regional houses in the category.
"To be recognised in our home state, by our peers, means a great deal," said Devansh Orrish, Chairman, accepting the award. "We are not the loudest house in the room, and we never set out to be. We set out to be dependable. This recognition tells us we are getting that part right."
In its citation, the jury noted that the group had grown across economic cycles without compromising on balance-sheet discipline, and praised its early adoption of rooftop solar and water-recycling measures across its operating sites.
The honour adds to a series of recognitions the group and its subsidiaries have received in recent years for quality, safety and workplace practices. Management said such acknowledgements, while gratifying, were a by-product of culture rather than a goal in themselves.
Orrish Group dedicated the award to its employees and to the communities in which it operates, reiterating that its founding principle — building on trust across generations — remained the standard against which it measures itself.
