RAIPUR — Orrish Hospitality has opened a substantially expanded banquet wing and two new signature restaurants at its flagship property in Raipur, marking the completion of an ₹84 crore renovation programme launched eighteen months ago.
The new facilities include a pillarless grand ballroom capable of seating 900 guests, three modular meeting suites, and a landscaped outdoor lawn designed for weddings and corporate functions. The hotel has also introduced an all-day-dining restaurant and a rooftop grill showcasing regional and pan-Indian cuisine.
"Raipur's appetite for celebration and considered hospitality has grown faster than the supply of quality venues," said Karan Mehrishi, General Manager of the property. "We have invested to meet that demand without losing the warmth and attention to detail our guests expect from us."
The expansion is expected to position the hotel as a leading destination for the region's wedding and conference market, segments that management sees as structurally underserved. Early bookings for the upcoming season have been encouraging, the company said.
The renovation also incorporated energy-efficiency measures, including a building-management system, LED retrofits, and a kitchen heat-recovery setup, which the group expects will meaningfully lower the property's operating costs and carbon footprint.
Orrish Hospitality said the Raipur investment was the first phase of a broader plan to refresh its hospitality assets and selectively add capacity in central India over the coming years.
